We were lucky enough to be invited to the Theatre Royal in Bath to Film the Bath Young People's Theatre Production of Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials". I was on the Panasonic Camcorder getting close-ups in the Front Row while Mike, Lance and Philip were in the Circle on the Sony Z1's getting the Wide Shots.
It was a great experience because I had to try and shut myself off from the Performance and concentrate on getting the shots that the other Cameras weren't able to get. There was a lot happening onstage along with flying Witches and explosions and I had to focus on what I was Filming rather than being distracted by action.
The Film will take a while to Capture & Edit - I'll keep you posted with progress
